I AM EQUAL :: PROJECT

WORLD RECORD BREAKING PHOTO DOCUMENTARY

Obviously, if this project were just about breaking the world record, we could be taking pictures of buttons...but we're not; We're taking pictures of people from all walks of life who are standing up for human rights, equality, and civil liberties in our communities and around the world.

This photo documentary is about giving people a voice and a reason to speak up about the issues and causes that mean the most to them. There are some who will dedicate their picture to protecting women and ending domestic violence, and others will be standing up for children and stomping out slavery. Some will take a photo for marriage equality and LGBT rights, and some will be fighting for immigration reform and equal protection. Athiests will stand up for respect in a Christian nation, and some will be protecting the rights of the homeless.

For every person on this planet there is at least one cause they are passionate about...what's yours? Join the movement and tell the world what you stand for.

2012 TOUR SCHEDULE COMING SOON
JAN. 2012 UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN FLORIDA
I live with my parents and I’m 29 years old. Salt lake city is my hometown and I have three pugs.

I have downs syndrome. Sometimes people been teasing me cause I look different. I went to many schools. I was vulnerable and it would make people want to tease me when I was in school. One time a boy spitted on me on my glasses. Another time a girl pinched me hard on the shoulder and it hurt. And other students would call me slow. And when people do these things it kind of makes me a little sad and hurt.

I love my family and they are precious to me. I like to go to the movies with my brothers and listen to my favorite singer Taylor Hicks. I’m happy...  » READ MORE «
